I started day 1 of the Challenge on Saturday, and am loving it!!! Although, I'm a bit sore, I think this is an awesome way to build up strength.

My husband has also joined me and we're both egging each other on!

Thanks for starting the challenge!

I agree, it is an excellent way to build strength, stamina and muscles--however, it's really important to let the muscles rest. For me, a day or two off in between doing Push-Ups and other isometrics, is the way to go, so I won't get too sore. Then I'll switch over to an aerobic exercise.

ok, week 3 is killing me...anyone else?

I waited to start Week 3, so today was my first. I'm really excited. I did the 15, 12, 12, 10, 15, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I'm totally shocked I was able to do 64 push-ups on such a short period of time. I did take a little longer break between sets, but managed to finish them all in 15 minutes.

I'm sure I might feel differently about it tomorrow...................:)

Plus, I did 50 squats. I'm saving my sit-ups for later today!!

Thanks for the invite Lisa! I just completetd week 1 of the push-up Challenge. It was no easy feat, but I'm looking forward to week 2 (I cannot say the same for my obliques).

Train hard; stay strong.

I finally decided that I am ready to start this program. I am going to start my hundred push up challenge on Monday, July 7. I did the test just to see where I was and I did 12 well formed --I have done more in the past but they were fast and I don't think my form was all that great. this time I took my time and did them correctly. This is a good place for me start.

What I like most is that my workout wont take more than 10 minutes each day so even when I'm running like a mad woman I will be able to fit these in. Will be back to post my stats at the end of week 1.

Day 1; Monday

7 push ups (rest) + 7 pu's rest + 5 pu's (rest) + 4 pu's (rest) + Max 5 pu's

Day 2: Wednesday

9 push ups (rest) + 8 pu's rest + 6 pu's (rest) + 5 pu's (rest) + Max 7 pu's

Day 3: Friday

10 push ups (rest) + 8 pu's rest + 8 pu's (rest) + 5 pu's (rest) + Max 10 pu's

I don't know if my goal is to actually do 100 push ups as much as it is to strengthen and define my upper body, strengthen my abdominals and back and test my abilities, feel strong and be stronger.

***Challenge yourself--push a little harder to do a little better!***

Well, after taking a week off due to sickness, I'm back on track. Last night, I returned to the start of Week 3 Day 1 and successfully completed 15,12,12,10, 16 for a total of 65 push-ups.

It was a bit of a struggle toward the end, but I'm moving forward with confidence. My goal is 100 push-ups, and if I'm going to get there.

I DID IT!!!.......................:)

I completed 31 push-ups, so I'm on to Week 5. Now, I know I'll be repeating the week, and maybe the days, but I'm moving forward and very excited.

I am in week 5 of the 100 push up program. At the end of week 4 I did 38 push ups. It says to go to column 2. I looked at column 2 and realized there was no way I could do that! I stuck with column one. I have been on day 3 for at least 2 1/2 weeks and still am struggling to get that last 30 push ups. It seems to me that moving to column 2 is too much to ask.

Ah, very interesting and informative site.

I normally do bench push up. 15 reps 3 sets.

But I think I'm going to give this challenge a good try.

I have been on week 5 forever. I have redone it twice and still can't do 46 push ups. Help?
