Poll Feature: What type of container do you like to drink your coffee from?

I thought it might be more fun to put the poll in the discussion forum. Let's give it a try:

Do you have a question you'd like to ask on Iowa Avenue? Just email me...............

How many washes can your foam cup do before it falls apart?

Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they last that long, but I still am.

What is a surprise is the mother nursing while driving. How is it possible?

The strangest thing I saw another driver doing while driving, is a man playing with himself. I mean literally, with the zipper down, hanging out, and playing with himself. How did I know this? Upon glancing at the car, I realized the man had his rear view mirror pointed down in such a way so the whole demonstration could be viewed by passing drivers.....................:)

I love drinking from a ceramic mug. But am beginning to use travel mugs to get my coffee from my favorite local coffee shop on the way to the office rather than a paper cup.

I don't drink coffee, but my tea is in a ceramic mug. Anything else makes it taste weird... Great question! BTW, ATD, I haven't heard about harmful ceramic mugs - what's the scoop?

Lead is commonly used in the glaze of ceramic. Most imported ceramic mugs are toxic. There are other toxic materials used in the making of ceramics as well. I guess we could do a whole series on toxic materials in our dishware. Anyone up for the challenge?

I really should switch to glass though. Plastic scares the ish out of me! lol.

I definitely prefer my coffee in a mug; but "When in Rome do as the Romans Do"......)

Happiness to me is my 2o-oz ceramic mug, filled with hot coffee, and the morning paper :) I hate when restaurants and diners give those dinky little 6-oz cups. That is not a proper coffee cup; that is a thimble!

I only drink Italian coffee. So a travel mug would be too big for me. When I drink espresso, I use the small ceramic cup and for cappuccino, the regular ceramic mug at home. If I am at the cafe, I don't think they would provide me that. So I have no other choice than the paper one.

I don't want to look ignorant but where are those glass ones??? I guess I need to go Bed, Bath & Beyond...

Coffee is my one daily vice. I only drink one cup a day, but I can remember those days when I was younger when I'd consume the entire pot.

I have several beautiful ceramic mugs that I found at a specialty store. The images on each mug really help me get going in the morning, and I display them around my coffee pot to help hide it.

I like right out of the pot! With a straw I might ad.

That's what I thought--@ 28 weeks sounds like it may be a tough choice for women to "break" the cycle, though. Thanks for posting this very important information which, I'm sure, will benefit women for something to be aware of.

Interesting. Isn't it fairly typical for most pregnant women to gain weight anyway though?
