Tirah,

That'd a good kick start. Do not forget to write
your goal on the whiteboard and put it at the
place that you'll see everyday. That's 'Law of
Attraction' rules. I have applied to myself, not
only for losing weight but for my relationship
and financial, and it really works.

I am new here finally a group that is healthy and I need that,What Im going to do to keep up with my weight loss is weigh myslef every morning and if i gain more then a few pounds I will eat healthy for the rest of the day.I alos have a whiteboard that I write motivational quotes on to keep me going when I wake up in the morning :)

I have made tons of empty promises of a gorgeous, hot bod and not giving up this time and blah blah blah. Well, this time I mean it. I'm actually keeping up with my food journal, exercising 5 days a week (last week I did 6 just for the fun of it!) and making sure I write on my blog (www.worldinsidemyhead.com) as much as possible - not skipping more than one day and only if I have a really good reason. So far, so good. I have a much more positive attitude than I have ever had before. Instead of seeing how fat I look in the mirror, I see how hot I'm going to look in April! I'm trying really hard not to be negative about my body and that seems to be helping a LOT. I even made a "progress poster" and hung it up for all to see. It is titled "Bringing Sexy Back" and I have a picture of when I was hot and then under that, I have a picture of me now in my sports bra and hideous shorts with my current weight and the date (September 13, 2008). Each month on the 13th I'm going to take a new picture and put it on my poster with my current weight. I'm shooting for 3lbs/week. I know that's a lot and it is hard work, but I really want to hit my goal - 140lbs - by my birthday, April 13th. I weighed in for the first week this past Saturday and I had lost 3.4 pounds!!! Of course, the second week tends to be lower but I'm trying not to be discouraged and I'm just going to keep on keepin' on!

Hi guys, I hope everybody is doing ok.
My name is Alex Costa and I live in Montreal. I've just started my journey into the weight loss, in my case it will be a long path because I need to lose a lot of weight, but I'm not discourage because I know that I didn't gain all those extra pounds in one night, week or year.
Actual weight 380 lbs.

I hope that all of you are doing well on your weight loss.

If you have ever enjoyed skiing, downhill & cross country, jogging or the elliptical trainer I have a new FUN product for you, the StreetStrider.

My progress:

1. I lost 2lbs in the last week.
2. I have continued walking 4 days per week, and I will add a 5th day this week.
3. I only ate a salad a day 4 days out of 7 last week.
4. I'm three days late posting my results, which won't happen again. Monday is weight loss progress day.

Well, I hit about 75% of my goals last week.

This week's goal is to hit 100%.

On a side note, I'm now up-to-date on my Walker Tracker. If you haven't login in a while, TB and Carol are very active walkers, too.
