I agree that a lot of our food is "fake" Fake nutrition, fake color...you name it. I only recovered from my health situation after supplementing with a powerful liquid whole food product which provided my starving body with the nutrients it needed to repair itself.

Hi! Thanks so much. To me, fake foods are processed foods with additives and chemicals. I worked in an academic setting for a health grant for a few years before becoming a freelance writer. At the time, I was focused in physical activity, but I was (am) a Nutritionist and worked with many RDs on the program. I constantly witnessed them promoting sugar free, fat free foods and snacks as ways to eat healthy. Also lots of foods that are perceived as healthy, but contain a lot of additives - crackers, bars, etc.

My view is that most of the health problems we have stem from these foods. As a nation, lots of people eats these types of foods, but still struggle with weight, inculding myself. I'm at a point where I am trying to reduce or eliminate these types of foods from my diet. I think natural foods are better.

That is what the blog is about. It isn't really about organic or being perfect, just a mission to stop relying on convenience foods and taking the time to focus on my health even more so than I have in the past.
