Ayala laufer-Cahana MD Can super-sizing fruit help you shed weight?

But here’s one worth checking out: Can eating more fruit help you shed weight? This diet is worth a second look because we have many other good reasons to increase our fruit consumption—fruit and vegetables are an important component of a… Continue

A friend of mine called me up on the weekend and asked me if I would help him get ‘back into shape’. Surprised? You bet. This guy never asks for advice. He is (or at least was) the guy that everyone in the gym went to for help… Continue

Fit Bottomed Girls Easy to Make, Low-Fat and Tasty Jalapeño Poppers

I had a hankering last week for jalapeño poppers. But my go-to popper stop, Sonic, is miles and miles (45 of them, actually) away. And no craving will get me to drive that far at $4.35 a gallon. I posted the second part in the series, "Retrain Yourself on Food Portion Sizes" last night on Almost Fit (technically this morning) at around 1:30AM or so - its been a long week. My time has been stretched thinner than usual, particularly since we have a 3-1/2 year-old (pictured) with Chickenpox at home (I work at home). He's had his first inoculation (at 1 yr.), so his symptoms were reasonably minor - no… Continue
