Finally, Tuesday was a sunny day without a rain cloud in sight, so I decided to take full advantage and go for an impromptu hike. It’s been unseasonably cold and rainy this past month and then some by Southern California standards.

Yesterday, I packed my camera up and went for a walk at Marina Del Rey, one of the largest man-made small boat harbors in the U.S., containing 19 marinas with a capacity for 5,300 ships. I’ve passed by Marina before but never stopped. Although a bit cool outside my house, and even a little cooler at the water, I nonetheless I still went. Hey, I’m an East Coast girl at heart, so a bit of cool air is nothing.
