What can we actually do to protect the earth? How can we ensure it’s conservation? There are so many people out there that don’t care and as long as the earth is working fine in their life-time then why bother.

Now I had spent a few days writing about the problems that our earth is going through, and I pained a bleak forecast for it’s future; the same old, same old! But this morning when I went to post it, I decided to trash it instead.

Why? As an elementary school teacher I visit this topic so many times and I have written, discussed, and been a part of many conservation projects and what I have found out is that we can have a voice, we can take action.

People are talking more about Earth conservation now more than they ever have from the family home right into the political powers that be. Education and awareness is increasing!

This is were we come in, now I scrapped my post because I wanted to bring you something more. Susan and I wanted to show you some things that you can do now in your home to be a part of the movement to better conserve the Earth and to protect it for generations to come!

Here are three simple steps that you can take to do your part, not only for today but make it become a new lifestyle for you, your family and friends.

STEP ONE: WATCH & LEARN

Watch the following videos on how you can start conserving and being green in your home. We have chosen the most practical videos here that your can start doing now. Not only will you start saving the environment with these videos but you will also start saving more of your hard earned cash!

STEP TWO: TEACH TO LEARN

As a teacher a powerful way to have some one learn something and have it stick in their mind and make them passionate about it is for them to teach it to someone else. Susan and I are going to challenge you to choose about 4 to 5 family members and friends to show and tell them the tips that you have learned from these videos. With this you will be spreading the news about conservation and also you will cause yourself to retain and understand deeper about conservation at home.

STEP THREE: WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO?

As I mentioned before there is now mountains and mountains of information available about how we can conserve the Earth’s natural resources to help our planet. Don’t make this the last thing that you learn about this, make some time online and look around. Once you have learned something new try it out and then go to step two to teach to learn.

Ok we hope that is has helped you and lets make a stand to look after hour home as a global citizen!

Remember it’s all about the pain of discipline and the pain of regret!
