I tried to make these pictures smaller, but they kept going back to big.
I was surprised to find that the "R" and "L" are still being mixed up. So here you have 'half-sprit' mung beans. At first I was wondering what sprit was, and then I realized it was mistranslated.

Then, I found "Frank steak". Frank steak is much cheaper than its American counterpart, flank steak. I would have paid more than double this price at Safeway to have it correctly spelled.

I found some lovely new chopsticks. I have a real fetish for chopsticks and have to control my urge to buy them all.

I love these dishes. I bought two small sauce dishes and a serving dish. I will buy the rice dishes and a couple of soup bowls and serving bowls another time. The picture does not do justice to the beauty of these dishes.

I bought some "Hawaiin" purple sweet potatoes. They don't look purple to me, so I'm thinking maybe once I cut them open. I will look up recipes because I'm not sure how to use them.

Also, some Japanese eggplant. Looks like a normal one, but very small. It's about five inches long.
I thought I would try it.

Chinese eggplant is also purple, but a lighter purple. It is a very long and slender fruit. I love it and use it in Pinakbet (Filipino veggies) and several other dishes. It's great sauteed with onion and mushrooms and served with rice.

And some treats. I like things a little sweet. These Korean treats are just a little sweet. This is called "Walnut Health Cake". It is a rice cake chock full of seeds, beans, nuts and raisins. It is very tasty and good for you. The bright green is a soy bean. It has mung, soy, white and red beans in it.

This is another style of rice cake full of beans. It is very good also and not too sweet, but enought to satisfy a sweet craving. I love rice cakes. I love the round ones full of sweetened mung bean paste. I didn't take a picture of them, however.

Not really wordless, I guess.
